I am known mostly by Bunnybeth, but my real name is Bethany. A few years ago, my friend Fro bought this pink-decorated tape of a series called Revolutionary Girl Utena and we were hooked. I couldn't stand the wait, so I bought fansubs to finish off the series and discovered just how wonderful SKU and Mikage-sama were. Combine my growing love of Mikage with talks about the series with another friend Michelle, and the essay she directed me to by Celeste Goodchild about the Black Rose arc and Beyond Pink was born.
Besides SKU I am mostly a fan of other shoujo/mahou shoujo/fantasy anime and manga, such as Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon, Cardcaptor Sakura, El-Hazard, and Fushigi Yuugi. But, I have been known to enjoy other shows like Cowboy Bebop and Trigun.
In my life beyond anime, I am a graduate of Millikin University down in Decatur, IL and work as a graphic artist in an advertising department. And, now I am a newly married woman! (Mrs Bunnybeth?!?) I love rabbits, and my sweetie Reese is a 3 year old Rex/English Spot mix who loves to chew EVERYTHING. Elon (my hubby) also has a guinea pig, Friska Pig, and we adopted a kitten a little bit ago and named him Duncan Maclawed. Besides anime, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel, I enjoy playing around with web design and eating chocolate. Oh, and my favorite funny things are the "All Your Base" phenomenon (see my main collective links for more on that) and the Sifl & Olly "Panda Song" I'm drunk on panda mystery!
Yeah, that probably explains alot.
