I'm currently busy as usual, and am regrouping and reorganizing my entire domain. Less than 2 weeks now until BP's fourth anniversary! Currently, I'm working on a new version with new content to debut later this year. For now, I've added a couple of new confessions sent in my recent visitors. Thank you! Also, a big thank you to Josh for allowing me to post his cosplay in the fanart section. Links have also been checked and updated.

Gomen, gomen! I really didn't mean to be away so long, but cosplay just doesn't make itself. ;) Back from ACen now and though there wasn't much SKU merch out there to buy, but I was a very happy girl to see a Mikage cosplayer on Saturday night! I might have glomped him if he hadn't looked so tired and surly (it was quite late), but at least I got his picture! ^^ Now, for site stuff! A new confession from the shadow girl Z-ko has finally been posted, and I have gone through the links and updated those. Don't forget to vote in the poll, and more stuff will be coming soon. Errr... eventually.

First of all, I wanted to say happy third anniversary to Beyond Pink! I opened up this shrine to the pink-haired one on March 26, 2001. I have had a lot of fun keeping it up so far and am looking forward to making it even better in the coming months. A new Ohtori student has joined the Mikage Seminar and their confession is now posted. Also, a new poll has been posed, so go vote on that.

I'm very sad to say the new version won't be done this month due to being over-busy IRL T.T and probably won't be done soon, since I'm making major improvements and content revisions to the entire site. Happy New Years all! Now that live is more or less back to normal, it's time for some website updating. I'm very, very sorry this has taken me so long, but new students have entered the confessional elevator and their confessions are now posted. Also, special thanks to Gerald Tarrant who has sent in some Mikage-Tokiko fanfic which resulted in the creation of said section. To round things up, I checked through the links. I have now started on the new version of BP which I hope to have live by the next anniversary in late March. Wish me luck! ^^;;

The last Utena DVD has just come out this week! And, now I'm back in action on this site. I added a couple of new confessions from past visitors who braved the elevator. Also, I have checked through the links and replaced a couple of the buttons with spiffy newly designed ones. The biggest news for now is my decision to have no more major updates on this site until the next version comes out, which I am currently working on. However, I have a few other web things on my to-do list so it'll probably be the new year before it's all ready to go. Until then, I'll basically leave this as-is, just checking links and adding in stuff visitors send to me. I'm going to be doing some major tweaking of navigation and writings, since most of it was created almost 3 years ago. So, look forward to that in the 'near' future!

Now celebrating 2 years of Beyond Pink online! In honor of this second anniversary, the uber-cool Fro has drawn a little Mikage holding a birthday cake (with 2 candles nonetheless) and I put it on the main page. Oh so fancy! I am really happy with how BP has grown over the years, and am still having a blast, I hope you visitors enjoy it half as much as I do.

 I have thought of a new question for the poll, this time it calls for a more "serious" opinion. Also, another student has entered the confessional elevator. And, call me a baka but it was over 3 months ago that I emailed Bevin and she said I could post her fanart up here at BP. But, I totally forgot to do so! Anyways, her lovely piece of Mikage and Utena is now up in the fanart gallery. Links have been cleaned up as well, and last but not least the Black Rose DVD box set is set to be released on May 13. It will feature episodes 14-24 on 4 discs in a box, but it does not appear to have anything extra beyond what the individual discs had... well, I certainly hope not, since I already have those! Anyways, it has a MSRP of $99.99.

 I just found the new box art for the final Black Rose saga DVD. The trend of misusing the original LD covers continues... (that Juri-Shiori pic was from LD volume 3, which was the Juri duel episode from the Student Council saga; Juri and Shiori have little to nothing to do with the final Black Rose eps!) But still, I am willing to forgive them that for not only releasing the DVDs but also creating UtenaTV.com the new official Utena series site. They have a basic story summary, some trailers, and a nice image gallery of large pics made for use as desktop wallpaper. Go check it out!

You may have noticed that version 2.0 is active! I hope you all like it, I slaved over my mac for many hours to bring it to you. It features wonderful fanart by the wicked kewl FRO and slighty updated navigation and content. There is a page starting to talk about the Black Rose duelists and some new fanart up, as well as house-cleaning for the links and some new ones added. As always, I invite you to join the Mikage Seminar in the Crypt section, and send me any Black Rose fanart or links... especially ones of Mikage.
