WORN || Halloween 2003

WHY || We named our cats Duncan and Connor, both because we liked the names and after the Highlander characters. I thought it would be funny to dress them as their namesakes for Halloween, plus I like saying "cats in kilts!"

HOW || Bought some blue plaid fabric from the remnant bin, a little bit of ribbon for a waistband and sewed together a kilt. The sword was made out of cardboard painted with acrylics and I used the cat harness as it's sheath. Duncan wasn't a huge fan, but would walk around in the kilt and got used to wearing it, so we left it on him most of the evening.
