During the Silver Millennium, a prince and princess fell in love. But, it could not last since their relationship was forbidden- a love between the Earth and the Moon. They were both reborn, on the same planet this time, so that they could be together.
As Bunny walks along one day, she crumples up a failed quiz and throws it behind her. It hits the face of Darien, a high school student. She thinks he is aloof and mysterious, but is also very defensive about her grades. However, he is preoccupied by his search for the Silver Imperium Crystal, and seems to think little of the girl he has met.
In her first "adventures" with the enemies she must fight, Sailor Moon is saved by Tuxedo Mask, a mysterius stranger, and she is instantly attracted by him. Their animosity is disguised along with their identities. Tuxedo Mask makes mysterious appearances as Sailor Moon begins to fight the enemy, and often lends her a helping hand. Shortly afterwards, Darien begins to suspect Bunny's secret identity and seems to be drawn towards her.
The masquerade ball brings Bunny and Darien together, with her disguised as a princess, and he as Tuxedo Mask. He picks up her handkerchief after she drops it, but forgets (or does he?) to give it back right away. They dance together, and he disappears upon Luna's arrival. By this point, he is certain she is Sailor Moon. Later that evening, he leads her to the side and they kiss for the first time during this life.
After the enemy drains the energy from the city, Darien finds Bunny collapsed on the ground. He holds her and she is filled with warmth. After she heals the people, Bunny is once again drained and faints into Tuxedo Mask's arms. He takes her back to his apartment, accidentally dropping his pocket watch in her lap as he carries her.
Bunny wakes up the next morning wondering where she is. Darien enters wearing a tuxedo and she realizes his secret identity as her protector, Tuxedo Mask. After this point, Bunny no longer calls Darien a "dork" but is very drawn towards him. She has his pocket watch and he has her handkerchief as tokens of each other.
When Tuxedo Mask is injured protecting Sailor Moon, she is filled with a flood of memories as her tiara shatters, revealing a crescent-moon mark on her forehead. She remembers her past identity as Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom, who was in love with Prince Endymion of the Earth Kingdom until evil forces destroyed the Silver Millennium. Her tear of grief over Tuxedo Mask's injury forms into the Silver Imperium Crystal.
Even though Tuxedo Mask is captured by the Dark Kingdom and brainwashed by their evil powers, Bunny never gives up on her love. She tries to heal the evil Tuxedo Mask, and follows him to the enemy base. When nothing works to retrieve him back to himself, Bunny desperately takes the Moon Sword and stabs herself, giving Darien one last kiss as she crumbles to the floor. Their sorrow-filled fate seems to have been repeated.
After the Silver Crystal encases the couple, Bunny wakes up, realizing she was saved by the pocket watch of Darien's she kept in her pocket. He wakes up and together they fight the power of Metallia. When the evil is defeated, Sailor Moon collapses. Darien takes her in his arms and revives her- awakened by the prince's kiss.
